Well, I’m back at last…sort of. 🙂 Our sweet little baby boy arrived on October 30th, and I have been busy, busy, busy ever since! He is a joy indeed, and I love him more than I ever could have imagined. But he also demands more of my time and energy than I ever could have expected! In light of this fact, I’m taking a huge step back from my online commitments and Etsy shop so that I can spend this precious time of babyhood focussing on my little “J.”
As a result, I am discontinuing my periodic newsletter, although I may send out just one more for those who don’t frequent the blog to make them aware of the changes I’ve made. I also have scaled back my Etsy shop so that only my patterns are currently up for sale. Perhaps one day I’ll get back to selling handmade items again, but not just now. My free patterns will continue to be available here, and you will still also be able to purchase patterns from my Ravelry page. Of course, blog posts will probably be few and far between as well. I wish I had more time and creative energy for all my hobbies, but it’s just not happenin’ right now!
Anyway, I wanted to let anyone who still happens to check the blog that I’m still around and that baby J arrived healthy and happy!

Isn’t he a button? My own baby (youngest of 4) is 20! I can still remember when my first was born 28 years ago. He just didn’t seem possible, do you know what I mean? Congratulations on your own little miracle!
